Step into the past with the Åntigu Tåktåk—a limited-edition heavy-duty cleaver that carries the soul of our ancestors and the spirit of the Mariana Islands. Built with the same specs as the original Åntes Tåktåk, this blade features a powerful new etching inspired by French expedition artist J.A. Pellion, whose 1824 illustrations captured some of the first visual records of Chamorro life.
But this isn’t just a copy of old history—it’s a remixed tribute, upgraded with deeper meaning. On this blade, we’ve brought our story back to center. We added what Pellion and the world missed:
The mighty Sakman (proa) — the fast, agile canoe that stunned early European explorers with its engineering and speed. It’s a symbol of Chamorro innovation, navigation, and mastery of the ocean.
The Latte Stones — standing proud and immovable, grounding the piece in our identity, architecture, and spiritual heritage.
A peaceful Chamorro village scene under coconut trees, reminding us of the strength, beauty, and everyday brilliance of our people.
This isn’t just a knife—it’s a cultural time capsule forged in steel.

Why This Blade Matters:
When the Louis de Freycinet expedition landed on Guam in 1819, their artists documented our people, our homes, and our way of life. But they saw it through foreign eyes. This blade flips the perspective back to us.
With every slice, you hold navigational genius, architectural pride, and ancient resilience—etched and honored by our own.
This is more than just a cleaver.
This is a weapon of culture.
A statement of identity.
A story—finally told our way.
